|
The Shamrock Inn The Shamrock Inn was initially built as a residence for a family in the 1841 by Patrick Phillips But when gold was discovered in the Turon area the Inn was expanded at the back and it operated as an Inn during the heady days of the gold rush. Once the gold rush petered out, the Inn lost its customers so, once again it went back to serving the needs of a family. Currently it is in a severely dilapidated condition
