| Pierce Collits Farm for Sale | ||
| In 1829 Pierce decided that he needed some capital so he put his farm at Birds Eye Corner up for Sale. By then the Farm was 26 years and quite valuable. Mary had taken out a Mortgage earlier on, to help Pierce. It i noted that the house at Castlereagh was also weatherboarded and no doubt the same plans was used for the Collits Inn. Jospeh Collits had lived ther, till he became the licensee for the Dog and Duck in 1836 | ||
